The room was overpriced for size and facilities. A notice in the bathroom proclaimed the provision of tissues, cotton pads and face cloths. These were nowhere to be seen and the provision of shower gel for two people was minimal. Not an experience I will be in a hurry to repeat.
Greaty location to where we was working ( Cairn )
Wallpaper was hanging off the walls & shower was cold / poor water pressure . room 160
Location was good.
Rooms need painting, but otherwise comfortable.
The bar area and outside seating is very modern and comfortable
The rooms are very small and some are in need of updating. I also found this hotel expensive for the size of the room.
The double bed was against a wall making it dificult for one person to get out especialy in the middle of the night.
Decor...Very old fashioned. Television was very unsafe with wires hanging loosley down the wall. Peeling wallpaper. Seriously needs an update.
Location good staff friendly
Very Shabby rooms considering the price paid and the pictures of rooms shown on the internet. Breakfast was very rushed not at all relaxing start to the day that you want to enjoy on holiday our cooked food was served whilst eating our cereal.
Entrance lobby and hall looked fabulous. Proximity to Harrogate centre was brilliant.
Rooms needed upgrading as they were old fashioned. Restaurant had a limited menu.
Excellent location - literally on the edge of the town centre, couple of minutes walk from shops, theatre etc. We got a good price for the hotel via Booked.net and the hotel was able to accommodate our family of five in one room which not many places can. Put up beds were adequate for the children, travel cot for the bay fine. Room was comfortable and good size. Donwstairs areas very smart and modern. Overall very happy and would return!
The bedroom was quite adequate but could do with a little updating - this is perhaps more noticeable as the downstairs looks recently done and is nice and modern. Cooked breakfast isn't the biggest portion and we were only given five or six half slices of toast between five of us, but you can help yourself to cereal, fruit etc.
I arrived early and although I could not check in to the hotel at that time, they very kindly let me leave my car at the hotel, which avoided me having to find alternative parking and additional costs.
The reception and bar area were very trendy. The rooms were a bit dated and could do with being updated.
Ideal location for shopping in Harrogate. Comfy rooms.
There was road noise that we did not expect and the hotel has no control over.
Close to town centre and the use of the gym facilities .
The rooms are in need of refurbishment and not up to the standard of down stairs and restaurant.I Initially made my booking as it seemed a good deal with the full price been over £100-00 and only paying £50-00 per night. This was without breakfast aswell .With this in mind I was extemely disapointed as I expected alot more and something a little more up market for the money as I have paid the same and got better else where and breakfast has been included in the price.! Also when viewing the hotel on your website there is a picture of a delightful garden which implies belongs to the hotel which in fact there is no garden to be seen !
Location was excellent for our weekend stay which included attending a wedding at Goldsborough Hall.Staff were without exception helpful at all times.
Whilst the bed was comfortable it was rather low to the ground and if we had been less able it might have been aproblem!!
The location made walking into Harrogate easy, the hotel had been updated with a chic look.
The room was small, it felt like a single with a double bed in it.
The breakfasts were very good.
No bbc on tv. Toilet cistern kept dripping all night keeping me awake. Heating was on full when I arrived although it was a very warm day. Couldn't leave the window open at night because of traffic noise outside.
